Who we are

Our mission

AISC Space Exploration Technologies SA is a company registered in Mali, committed to the development of the African space industry. Its ambition is to strengthen the upstream segment of the space value chain through the progressive deployment of a spaceport in Mali, designed to foster the emergence of African launch and space-access capabilities.

AISC also offers consulting services in the midstream domain, along with engineering, mission design and space systems services. Through its activities, the company aims to contribute to opening Africa to the new space economy and to building a sustainable technological, industrial and scientific ecosystem.

Energy & research

A solar ambition serving space activities

AISC is working on the deployment of solar power plants to sustainably power its future space infrastructure. This program includes the study of a photovoltaic panel manufacturing unit as well as solar farms intended for both industrial sites and local communities in the regions concerned.

In parallel, AISC aims to offer a research environment close to real conditions for the study of botany and agriculture in a space context — an essential building block for the autonomy of future missions and the continent's scientific ecosystem.

Applied research

A laboratory dedicated to space botany

Our research teams study plant growth and resilience under controlled conditions, drawing on soil-free growing and lighting technologies used to prepare future space missions.

This progressive approach — from the laboratory to the terrestrial analogue, then towards conditions ever closer to space — aims to build recognized African expertise in space agriculture, in service of the food security of future missions.
