Our areas of activity

A space ecosystem, from the ground to orbit

From launch infrastructure to the energy that powers it, AISC is building the foundations of an integrated African space sector.

Upstream

Spaceport & access to space

Progressive deployment of launch infrastructure in Mali to open up autonomous access to space for Africa: launch of spacecraft, satellites and orbital vehicles.

Midstream

Space engineering & consulting

Strategic consulting, engineering, and design of missions and space systems to support public and private players in the sector.

Industry

Aerospace construction

Design and manufacture of aircraft, launchers, satellites and probes, as well as maintenance and repair of aircraft and spacecraft.

Energy

Solar power plants

Design, assembly and deployment of photovoltaic cells and solar power plants, built to support the energy supply of space infrastructure and local communities.

Research

Space agriculture & botany

Development of research environments close to real conditions for the study of botany and plant growth in a space context.

Vision for the future

Opening Africa to the new space economy

Beyond launch infrastructure, AISC is working on the deployment of solar power plants dedicated to powering space activities, and aims to offer a near-real environment for space botany research.

Through these three pillars — access to space, energy and research — AISC intends to contribute to building a sustainable technological, industrial and scientific ecosystem for the benefit of the African continent.
